Originally established by African-Americans to confront discrimination and unequal opportunity, NTA today is an organization for all minorities, women, and youth pursuing technical careers.  Today nearly half of NTA professional members are women, a testimony to the work throughout its years as an icon for excellence and diversity in America.

"NTA is committed to women and minorities helping each other develop so they can increase their contribution and advance in their careers. Through my affiliation with NTA, I have gained skills, visibility, and recognition. This makes me a better executive and a more effective contributor to our corporate and local community."

- LaDoris Harris, Vice President, ABB Service Inc.
